disabling dropdown in menu using qtranslate X

    Hello I am using Convertible theme. Ideally I would like to show the language switcher in the contact bar, but I didn’t succed in changing the header.php file of the them.

    So I guess that the best solution is to add the lang selector in the menu. However it comes out as a dropdown menu. Since I just have to switch between two languages, I would like that in the menu appears only the flag of the alternative language (i.e. not the one I see the page, but the other language) and that I can switch just clicking on the flag, without the dropdown menu.

    Could you help me please?

    yes I’ll do it. Just a quick question: the plugin doesn’t work very well with my Visual Composer which is version Version 4.3.3. However I just found that the new version of Visual Composer is compatible with qtranslate.

    Do you confirm me that before I proceed to purchase the updated version of VC?

    compatible with qtranslate or qtranslate-X ?

    Known Issues:
    If other plugin installs a custom TinyMCE editor on a translatable field served by qTranslate-X, then all kind of problems start to happen. Examples of ‘offending’ plugins are: Crayon Syntax Highlighter, Fusion Page Builder, Page Builder by SiteOrigin, Revolution Slider, Rich Text Tags, Visual Composer, WP Editor, WR PageBuilder. We are looking into possibilities to enable integration with those plugins, meanwhile Tiny MCE Advanced seems to be compatible as reported by some users.

    Actually it says that it is compatible with qtranslate and WPML support.

    I had big problems with my version of VC in writing a page. I found the solution in just copying the code instead of editing it. But I hope to figure out some easier methods

    29.07.2014 – ver 4.3

    New: Added support for mqTranslate (qTranslate fork which works with WP 3.9+)

    I would have to wait, to purchase the updated version, and see what happens here.

    Hi @gunu yesterday a posted a new question about the switcher. I would like to know if I can show both languages available (I use two, Italian and english) in the menu in this way:

    IT | EN

    without showing the flag and without showing the dropbox.
    I tried to write in the Language Switcher Menu the sentence &flag=none, but it doesn’t work
