I’m aware that MailPoet allows you to choose which of your taxonomies display forms. I’m wondering if there’s a way to do the reverse and select which taxonomies forms don’t display on. Basically, an “opt-out” instead of an “opt-in.”

I host my professional portfolio on my site, but it’s only a small section of my pages. To prevent forms from showing up on my portfolio, I’d have to manually select every other taxonomy I have and leave “portfolio” out. It would be tedious. Is there a way to just disable it on my portfolio? Thank you.

    Hi @noahsbarks,

You’re right that the form placement settings in MailPoet currently work on an “opt-in” basis and you choose only where the form should display. There isn’t a built-in “exclude these pages” option in the form editor at the moment.

As a workaround, you could add a small CSS snippet to hide the form on your portfolio pages.

That said, an “exclude from” option in the form placement settings would be a really useful addition. I’d encourage you to submit it as a feature request here.

    Thanks!

    Hi @bruberries

Thank you for the helpful reply. Just now, I went to submit a feature request using your provided link and clicking “New Issue,” but received the message, “Issues are disabled for the selected repository. Please select a different repository.” Am I doing this correctly? I don’t know my way around GitHub.

Also, if it’s not too much to ask, could you provide that CSS snippet that would hide the popup on my portfolio pages, and where I would insert it (I’m assuming a template)?

    I appreciate the help!

That’s odd! Are you clicking the Create Post button after typing the Title and Description as shown here? https://d.pr/i/JAVZVI

Can you try it through a different browser or using a private/incognito browser window?

Can you send us the URL of your portfolio page? We’ll take a look at the theme CSS and see if we can help you with that. 🙂

    Thank you!
