• I’ve tried to fix this but haven’tt been able to find anyone else with the same problem.

I am on WP 6.8.2 (self hosted) which I access via a Chromebook.

For some reason I am unable to access the Settings>Discussion>Disallowed Comment Keys list using the Chromebook’s built-in Chrome browser.

I can however access it using Firefox.

In Chrome when I click on the list to add a term the page becomes unresponsive.

A message pops up offering Wait or Exit the page options.

Clicking the Wait button doesn’t work and I am forced to exit.

It hasn’t always been this way so obviously the wonderful people at Google have changed something.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

    Thanks,

    Chris

I can use the field without any problems, regardless of which browser I use. My guess would be that you have an add-on in your browser that is interfering with this. I would recommend trying it in Chrome’s private window, where all browser add-ons are disabled.

I forgot to add I did a complete recovery of my Chromebook. Downloads a fresh image, removes everything, reinstalls everything like new. No add-ons – didn’t make any difference.

Does this also happen on a normal PC with Chrome? Because I can’t reproduce it on my end.

Have you tried deactivating all plugins in WordPress and activating a standard theme?

Haven’t tried it on a PC. Yes, to second question.

    I’ll give it a go.
