These buttons were removed in WooCommerce 2.3. There’s a plugin to add them back in if you want them.
I understand that these buttons have been phased out but why is the QTY box not aligned correctly? Is this normal?

I see margin-left: -1em; is doing this and I can override it if I need but I wanted to check if something wasn’t broken as it to me looks odd to be pulled to the left like that.
@robmaric, version 1.3.0 of Storefront addresses this. It’s been in the queue for approval since last week, normally the updates are made available quicker than this, sorry about that. Hopefully it will be available soon.
