Hi @wireb,
I am sorry for your disappointment but we do have many triggers besides onload one. Maybe you have missed them but here is the trigger list which we support now.
1) On load
2) On click
3) On hover
4) On scroll
5) On inactivity
6) On exit
7) On adblock detection
We also have many condition filters like showing popup:
1) by user status
2) via URL
3) by device type
4) by geolocation
5) by date range
We value our users very much and we never write anything that we don’t have or support. Inside the plugin’s description, you will see all of our features and the above-mentioned triggers and conditions are described as well.
We will really appreciate if you can reconsider your review as the new users will be disappointed as well and will not download the plugin and we will lose newbies.
In case you need any help or the triggering option don’t work for you, please write a support topic and we would love to help you.
Thank you!
Best regards from Popup Builder team.

My apologies, let me again try using these functions. To me, they were not so obvious, which means they totally escaped me.
Dear @wireb,
If you can’t find your desired option, please let me know I will provide you with screenshots and detailed directions.
Thank you!

I’ve activated Popup Buiilder and clicked on edit for an existing popup and still unable to see any trigger options. Possibly in the Pro version I am thinking. I see:
- General
- Effects
- Image Option
- Dimensions
- Options
Dear wireB,
As you didn’t mention which version you are using I have written all the features that we have in our free and pro packages.
To be more precise:
1) On load – available via shortcode, or metabox under the page/post (free)
[sg_popup id="1" event="onload"][/sg_popup]
2) On click – available via shortcode (free)
[sg_popup id="1" event="click"]Clickable Text[/sg_popup]
3) On hover – available via shortcode (free)
[sg_popup id="1" event="hover"]Hoverable Text[/sg_popup]
Filters are available with any of our pro packages.
I am sorry again for your disappointment maybe we will need to re-check the description section and make things more clear.
Anyway, in case you need to see any specific feature in actions please contact us at [email protected] and we would love to assist you directly.
Thanks!

Using version: 2.6.4. I am unable to find where these filters are located in the free version. The backend admin of Popup Builder does not show these functions. I gave you in bullets the sections in Popup Buider, where are these option listed? Sorry for being confused. 🙁
Hi @wireb,
Let me show you screenshots where you can see the mentioned options.
Inside the pro version, we have 1 additional sections called ‘Advanced Options’ in which you can find several triggers which I have mentioned in the previous thread.
1) Advanced options https://ibb.co/bBX2Ma
Onload, Onclick, Onhover options are available with all of our packages included the free one. You can find our button on every page/post editing page.
2) https://ibb.co/mdaTuv
If there are any other questions feel free to let me know.

My rating is about the free version, how could I find the triggers if I am using the free version? So as you confirm with your response, you only have use of triggers if you purchase the premium version. :(.
Dear @wireb,
Your review was not that clear for us you are referring for both Free and Premium ‘Unfortunately Popup Builder free or premium versions do not have triggers so the popup is only displayed upon page load which is generally intrusive’ and even for FREE one we do have 3 triggers not only one as you are mentioning in your review (popup is only displayed upon page load).
So once again here are the triggers that are included in the FREE version and here is the proof of that https://ibb.co/mdaTuv
1) On load – available via shortcode, or metabox under the page/post (free)
[sg_popup id=”1″ event=”onload”][/sg_popup]
2) On click – available via shortcode (free)
[sg_popup id=”1″ event=”click”]Clickable Text[/sg_popup]
3) On hover – available via shortcode (free)
[sg_popup id=”1″ event=”hover”]Hoverable Text[/sg_popup]
Please, be understanding I just want to make things clear for you and for others who read this thread. Yes, we have some limitations on our FREE version but still, the FREE version has all the necessary functionality for showing a popup, all other triggers are advanced ones. We have clearly specified all the PRO features inside the plugin description so that people will not waste their time.
Thank you!

Again, thank you for your attempt to better describe the workings of Popup Builder’s trigger functions. Perhaps creating a Youtube video on how to utilize triggers would be best.
Kind regards,
wireB
Thank you wireB 🙂 will take it into consideration for sure!
