Yesterday I stumbled my way through updating wordpress from 4.2 to 6.8 and PHP from 7.2 to 8.0 with the help of chatgpt in updating some php files. The website is operating as it should however I’ve now got a double up in disc usage.

    .wp-toolkit_z appears in public_html and contains copies of wp-admin, wp-content & wp-includes

Is this update related or from cloning the site for staging purposes?
How can I determine which file tree the site uses and can the non-operational files be deleted?

    Thanks
