Discount conditions

I need to know if this plugin allows the following configuration:
Among several product categories, I need to make a discount on at least 9 items, from any of the given categories. If the cart has 8 of these items, plus a random one for any other non-discountable category, it should not make the discount.
I tried your plugin once and I had the feeling this didn’t worked as expected, but it could be due to a bad configuration.

Ok thanks for the reply. Let me explain:
My client has 2 types of product discounts. The badge discount and the stripe discount.
The badges are 2.50 Euro each. When the client buys 9 or more unit, they get a 20% off (2.00 Euro each). These badges are scattered through several sub-categories.
The stripes are 0.25 Euro each. When the client buys up to 199 unit, they get an 8% off (0.23 Euro each). If the client buys 200 or more unit, they get a 16% discount (0.21 Euro each). These stripes are basically one single product. The client may add several copies of these to the cart, since they have an internal option to pick a color.
Both of these are simple WooCommerce products.
