Hello
Using the plugin Discounts Per Payment Method:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woo-payment-discounts/ is possible to set up a discount depending on the payment method being used by the customer.
I hope this provides clarity.
Hi
Unfortunately that plugin isn’t useful to me, as it doesn’t display the discounted price on the product page and catalogue and by checkout it won’t display the discounted price and when the user selects a non-preferred payment method the total changes to the normal price as set.
That plugin will add a fee to the payment method chosen and I don’t want that. I want the user to know the prices from the start as per my screenshots.
Any other suggestions?
Hi @brendonmeier
Thanks for clarifying.
I came across a few ways to achieve what you are looking for, all of which are based on some plugins:
* https://docs.flycart.org/en/articles/5207088-discount-based-on-the-payment-method
* https://discountsuiteforwp.com/tutorials/create-woocommerce-discount-per-payment-method/
* https://www.webtoffee.com/how-apply-woocommerce-discounts-based-payment-methods/
Please be aware that these are third party plugins and have not been tested or tried by us. For any queries you may reach out to their respective support channels.
This article discusses another way in which the goal could be programmatically achieved: https://www.tychesoftwares.com/how-to-add-charges-or-discounts-for-different-payment-methods-in-woocommerce/
If none of these help, you may want to go for a custom-coded solution, and for that we recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.
Cheers
