    Hi there,

Is it possible to set Woo Discount Rules to work off the local time of the user, rather than the store/WP time?

At present we have to clarify the time zone for the four geo stores (seperate WP sites in a multi network), but they cover quite disparate customer locations (eg AU is Australia, Asia and Africa, US goes from East Coast to Hawaii).

So just wondering if a better way in future would be to base it off the customers time zone.

  • Hey

Thank you for reaching out to us. This is Sangeetha from Customer Support Team.

With the Discount Rules for WooCommerce plugin, you have the capability to establish rule validity based on the server’s date and time, allowing you to configure discount rules in alignment with your local timing. For example: https://nimb.ws/FOAS0k

Checkout this doc to know more about available conditions: https://docs.flycart.org/en/articles/3834240-conditions-rules

However, it’s important to note that currently, the plugin does not support offering discounts based on the customer’s local time. We appreciate your feedback in this regard, and we will certainly take it into consideration for future updates.

If you have any further questions or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to help.

    Thanks
    Team Flycart
