Discrepancy between woo commerce and Google analytics plugin in

    I have the Google analytics plugin installed but the main discrepancy is the number of orders. Only some orders are being considered and the amounts or some orders are also different. How to rectify this and align them.

    I’d be glad to help. Can you provide us with a bit more background on this discrepancy? Any details including screenshots of the comparison between your number of Orders in WooCommerce and Google Analytics would help us understand what is occurring.

    One thing to take into consideration is the payment gateway you are using, the Purchase Transactions tracking option will track purchases on your site, including data like revenue, tax, refunds, shipping, and more. This requires a payment gateway that redirects to the thank you/order received page after payment. Some popular options that do this are Stripe, Braintree for WooCommerce, PayPal Checkout, and Square.

    I’d also like to better understand your site. Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in your response.

    Once we have that information, we’ll be in a better place to help.

    Google analytics view which shows only one order.

    Thanks for sharing your System Status Report!

    I would recommend doing a conflict test to check if there are any conflicts with other plugins or the theme:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to the Storefront or Twenty Twenty theme.
    • Try to reproduce the problem: by trying to place a new order to see if the analytics are being updated. If the issue is resolved, it is a theme conflict. If not, continue to the next step.
    • Temporarily deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, Google Analytics and a payment method.
    • Try to reproduce the problem again. If the issue is resolved, it is a plugin conflict. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, continue to the next step.
    • Reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.
