Hi, I have used bulk optimize in your plugin and it seemed to work ok but doesn’t seem to have improved the disk space the blog is taking up on the server? My blog is photo based with about 250 posts, averaging 8 images per post. It’s taking up 18.5GB in space after optimising using your plugin? I didn’t check what it was before the plugin but basically used the plugin to avoid having to ramp up my server plan..

The first thing I would recommend is turning on the metadata removal. Lossless image compression results will vary greatly on what sort of images you’re uploading, and how they are handled prior to upload. Images from a camera that are minimally processed will see the largest savings. Things saved from Photoshop with “save for web” will see less savings.

So, first remove the metadata, and if you still want more savings, you might try out the lossy options with the Cloud API.
