Dismiss wp-cron message?

Is there a way to dismiss the “BackUpWordPress has detected a problem” message without losing the changes on future plugin updates? My new web host won’t call wp-cron (not quite sure why) so I’m calling it manually in a cronjob. I’m going to be turning it over to the client in a few weeks and I don’t want them to see that message and worry that something’s not installed correctly.
