Display Categories

Hey Bill,

I’d like to display the categories that the posts are in. I found and tried to adapt this: http://www.billerickson.net/code/display-posts-shortcode-show-author/
but didn’t succeed. Is this something you’ve already sorted out as well?

I am using a custom post type with custom taxonomy.
