    Hello,

I’m currently building a website that makes use of this plugin. The website is built with Elementor and Pods.

I have a custom field in Pods that represents a duration in minutes, for example 150 minutes. In my filters, I need to show these options formatted in a more readable way, like “2h 30m” or “2hrs 30min”, with a dropdown. This would apply to boolean values as well, since they are currently output as “1” and “0”.

I already have a shortcode that outputs the formatted version, but apparently the plugin doesn’t allow for these kinds of customizations. The only result closer to what I need is the “Custom Pattern” option, but that cannot manipulate the output aside from replacing the “#VALUE#” variable.

Is that correct, or is there any other way to display formatted values?

    Hi nicorsm93 (@nicorsm93),

At the moment, the plugin can’t format time only values. However, I am currently preparing the next update and have added a dedicated time format option, along with a custom format option.

The update should be available next week.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    Regards,
    Dara

    Hi nicorsm93 (@nicorsm93),

Just a quick update to let you know that the time format option is now supported as of version 1.8.4. You can now format time-only values directly using the value formatting option.

Feel free to update and give it a try. If anything is unclear or you run into issues, you can open a new thread and I will be happy to help.

    Regards,
    Dara

    Hey Dara,

thank you so much for your update. The time format option looks great! I was wondering if there’s any chance to implement a formatting options for booleans as well, because right now they are displayed either as “0” or “1”, whether a better formatting would be
    – “Yes” / “No”
    – “<Before Text>: Yes”/”<Before Text>: No”
    – “<Custom option for Yes>” / “<Custom option for No>” (es. “Selected”/”Not selected”)

    Thanks!
    Nicola

    Hi nicorsm93 (@nicorsm93),

That’s a great suggestion. I’m actually working on the next feature update at the moment, so I’ll be adding formatting options for boolean values as well. This should be available in the upcoming release.

In the meantime, feel free to share any other ideas or requests you might have.

    Regards,
    Dara

    Hi Nicola,

This feature has already been implemented on my side. Boolean formatting is part of the upcoming 1.9.0 update, which also includes several other improvements and new features. I bundled it into a larger release rather than pushing it as a small standalone update.

If you need early access for testing or to move forward with one of your projects, feel free to reach out at [email protected], and I can share a build with the boolean feature enabled.

I am currently testing the different changes, but I do not have a precise ETA for the release yet.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Regards,
    Dara
