How do I display the name of the inviter on each members profile? Is that possible?

I found this link http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/show-hisher-inviter-on-buddypress-members-profile?replies=1 but it doesn’t work for me, it just shows the shortcode itself on each members profile (e.g. it displays Inviter: [myinviter id=”1″])

Ah, so I just realized that in the code I’d tried above was for secure invites, not invite anyone, so it’s not surprising it didn’t work, however I’d still love to figure out how to display the inviter on a member’s profile.
