• Ever since I upgraded to 3.8, when I go to edit an email, the display is messed up; the editor bar and email is shifted way down on the page. I have to scroll down to work on my email. The style options on the left are still at the top of the page, in the normal position, just the email itself has been pushed down.

Everything still works fine, but it seems messed up. Not sure if I am the only one or others have just not noticed this yet. I was hoping I could attach a screenshot, but I guess there is no ability to do that here.

Actually, I just looked at it again, and the top of the editor bar for the email editing area aligns with the bottom of the CONTENT STYLES area on the left. Its pushed down by that amount.

Do you have any screenshots or a specific browser that you’re having a problem with? I’m not having any problems on any of our sites. It could be a theme conflict or something else. If I had a screenshot, perhaps it might give us some ideas. Depending on what that looks like, I may ask for the support information within sendpress.

Using the latest Google Chrome on Win 64.Big Bang is the theme.

It is almost certainly a plug-in or theme conflict causing that issue. It might be helpful for you to follow this knowledgebase article to determine if it is a plug-in or theme and which one. Perhaps we can help if we narrow it down.

After updating the ticket, I spoke to one of the developers who told me that he was able to find the reason for your issue. He has already fixed it and it will be included in the next release.

Awesome! I will let you know if the next release does NOT solve the problem. Thanks for the awesome support!

    This was released tonight.

Sorry for the delay in noticing this. Yes, the update fixed the display issue with respect to editing the email. However, now the field at the bottom where I could add a Test email is no longer visible. In fact, I can find no way of sending my email to a Test email account on any of the tabs. Maybe it was moved to somewhere else?

I don’t think that sending was moved. Do you think you could provide a screenshot?

Here is a link to the screenshot, where I used to have a field to add test email addresses. Seems to be missing now.

You are right, it is definitely missing. I will see if the developers have any thoughts, but my best guess is that you have a plug-in or script that may be preventing it from loading. In the meantime, you can still send a test mail from the next screen after you hit “send”. I realize that it is not quite as convenient, but perhaps it will work for you until we can figure out why is missing from the current page.

Here is a link to troubleshooting plug-in conflicts. Perhaps if we can narrow it down we will be able to fix it.
