I have recently moved to a new host with a staging environment. I made changes to my staging server and pushed them out to the live instance. And, so long as I am an admin user, I can see them just fine. But things are very strange for anonymous users. What they see by default is the old site, although with a background image now instead of a color. I can browse to individual (new) pages, and they show up fine. But the old pages are there as well, even though I have set them to draft in the production environment. The home page refuses to change, and the header and menu are also unchanged, unless I have specifically entered the URL of a new page.

I have removed the CDN and disabled all the caches. I have cleared the browser cache as well. Nothing seems seems to have an effect. I don’t know what else to do at this point. Any help would be great.

And, yes, I have tried disabling all plugins. That did not help either.

Something else I just noticed is that the most recent blog post that is showing up is from a week ago. That relates to when I copied production to the staging server. Something may have been missed when going back to production.

OK, I have resolved this. WP_Rocket had left behind some cache files. Once they were gone, the problem was solved. I had quite using WP Rocket when I moved to the new host, using their cache program instead. Just needed a little extra cleanup. Don’t know why it was OK until I pushed from staging to live though.
