Display notification in popup

Hello,

I’m using the plugin in order to display notifications about new products on the eshop.
Now, I want the last notification to be displayed in a popup.
My first question is obliously if this is possible.

If not, I was thinking, I could add a custom popup with the news I want to show to the customers. However, when they view the popup, I would like the notifications bell to stop showing ‘1 new notification’. Is this possible?
