Display permanent image

Hi, This plugin is awesome but I have a quite important request.

While post navigation is important to be pushed forward, the most engaging way is by using images. Sadly you don’t offer te ability to display images permanently.

This should be given by nature as explained why above.

Could you please add something like a feature to replace arrows for thumbnails ..

If you know another plugin that does this already you can inform me to of course.
