Display posts from category within date range

    I would like to be able to select a range of dates from which to select a particular category rather than using repeated shortcodes with a separate year and monthnum as on this page http://carnethy.com/borders-xc-series-2014-15/ ‎
    The shortcodes I used for that are:

    [catlist name=borders-xc year=2015 monthnum=2 date=yes date_class="lcp_date" content=yes]
[catlist name=borders-xc year=2015 monthnum=1 date=yes date_class="lcp_date" content=yes]
[catlist name=borders-xc year=2014 monthnum=12 date=yes date_class="lcp_date" content=yes]
[catlist name=borders-xc year=2014 monthnum=11 date=yes date_class="lcp_date" content=yes]

    Is that possible?
