I’m trying to use Post Grid to display the 8 latest posts from a category in the sidebar. (Using free version).
I create a layout but can’t paste the shortcode into a widget (neither text nor custom HTML) it doesn’t display the thumbnails.
I would like to display them as a list, but the only widgets I can see are “Post Grid 1”, “Posts Grid 2” and “Posts Grid 3” all of which not are lists.
So, how do I create a list that will display in the sidebar?
(The ones showing now is from the standard wp selection of widgets)
I really appreciate help. 🙂

Hi, you need to go to layout editor to build list type templates. but sorry to say you can display as ul > li tags, if you please send me a demo of your previews I could confirm you if this is possible or not.

Thank you, here is the page I’m trying to add in the sidebar.

The issue is that when I paste the code into a widget, it crashes. I don’t think you can add anything with .PHP to the widget.
Is there a way around this?

Not sure which code you pasted on widget, normal shortcode [post_grid id="123"] should work with text widgets.
