• Hello,

I tried to post into the plugin forum but it seems closed. The “create topic” is missing. I hope this forum is appropriate to this topic too.

I would like to know if there is a plugin to get this result:

In the admin backend, the pages and articles are displayed as list of titles. Author,… Just under each title, we can use some link and one let us to get an automatic preview of the page.
Is there a way to display all these pages or articles under preview style, like the themes are displayed on their pages. When you have a lot of pages, this is faster to find the page you’re looking for.
I imagined a pair of icons at the top that let to toggle between a list display and a preview display. One as now, and another one into preview display.

    Thank you.

    John

  • The plugin forum isn’t a forum itself; it’s a list of forums for each plugin in the repository.

There might be a plugin for generating a preview as an image, but the code to do that is not reliable to work in all browsers. However, you don’t need an image, or even an iframe (which the theme preview uses) since there is an option in the Posts and Pages list pages. Look in the upper right for Screen Options and once in there, choose Excerpt View. That will show the excerpts of the posts and pages below the title.

And the links shown when hovering the Title or Excerpt always includes one called “View” which can be opened in a different tab or window if you really want to see the whole thing.
