    Hello,

I notice that after updating the plugin, its display of work samples has changed, which I can’t seem to change.

I represent this with the two screenshots:

    Screenshot 1

    Screenshot 2

One is the display of the old, inserted gallery (with a picture of a magazine) on the page. On the other hand the representation of the new, inserted gallery (NextGEN Gallery).

The representation of the work samples on the page with the specification of max. 20 images per page and 2 columns is then the following: Old gallery two rows, nicely tidied on the left side of the page margin, new gallery somewhat arbitrarily simply rows placed in the middle of the page.

The configuration of the two galleries inserted into the page is almost identical, but the display is unfortunately not. However, I can’t find a way to change this display and get the old tidy display of the work samples.

    Can I change this?

    Regards

    Thobie

    Hi @thobie,

Can you please switch to the Text mode of the editor then provide us with both shortcodes so we could have a look at those?

    Thanks

    Hello,

    old gallery:
    <img src="http://www.kreativ-schmie.de/nextgen-attach_to_post/preview/id--610" alt="" />

    New gallery:
    [ngg src="galleries" ids="2" sortorder="21,119,23,82,25,24,28,27,26" display="basic_imagebrowser"]

    Regards

    Hi @thobie,

Thanks for providing us with both shorcodes. So the first shortcode is a very old one and I am wondering if the gallery still renders with it since it isn’t longer supported since NGG 2.x versions.

I am noticing that the second shortcode mentions ImageBrowser display type which obviously shouldn’t display like a grid of thumbnails but more like in this case: https://www.imagely.com/wordpress-gallery-plugin/pro-imagebrowser-gallery/

This being said – I am wondering if there’s a conflict on the site that’s causing this issue. Feel free to reach us at https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/ mentioning that we have asked you to contact us and pointing to this thread’s URL for the reference.

    Thanks!

    Thank you.

I figured these display problems were due to various updates to the plugin.

I have now changed all images and galleries to Image Browser.
