Display single post before grid?

    Hi I want to display a welcome message on my page before the grid of posts.

    How can I do this, I want to write a small introduction to tell about the company business before two posts are being displayed in the grid. At the moment I get a full width post displayed but not in full single post mode (i.e. the post is clickable and the text is clipped)

    Anyone have a tip on how to do this?
