Displaying certain authors only

OK, so I only want to display the author on author posts and not admin posts (i.e.. the website name). Is there any way to do this plug in wise?

The other issue is that as I’ve only just started to do this after a considerable amount of posts I don’t really want to go through every single post and tick/untick the show author for individual posts as it’d take me forever.
