I am having some trouble displaying some blocks in WordPress using this plugin. There are two locations in WordPress where I am displaying Magento blocks, one is in the header where I display the top.links. This works perfectly. The other is to display category information (description/thumbnail) in the WordPress footer. So, it calls this category/marketing block which loads the info based on the category the user is viewing. There seems to be a problem with the cache storage where it will display the information for the first category the user clicks on, and hold on to that throughout the experience, not getting the new category information. Does this have to do with natural Magento/Wordpress cache setup, or is there something I can do to force the correct content to display? It’s becoming quite an issue with the client.

Have you tried the same block purely in Magento?

Thanks for the response, this was due to the caching in the footer. I made some caching rule changes around it, and everything is working great now! Thanks!
