Displaying double widgets/sidebars issue

    Basically all the widgets I have implemented are being displayed twice, like this.

    http://prntscr.com/divp09 (this one is right under the navigation menu at the top)
    http://prntscr.com/divpbk (this one is where I’d like the sidebar to be)

    How can I remove the upper one? This is on all of my pages that I have added widgets too, I’ve never had this issue before. I am using a plugin called sidebar adder 2 to create custom sidebars on specific pages, I have used this plugin before without any issues, I believe this has something to do with the theme I am using.

    I have tried switching the page layout however that doesn’t make much of a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
