• I’ve got more than one .ics Google feed coming in, and they are on different topics. They have no tags or categories associated with them. I would like to display them on different pages and would have thought I would filter them with something like feed_id=”1″ or feed_name=”My Feed”, but that does not exist. Am I able to show these feeds separately, as I cannot see a shortcode that does this?

  • Hi – on the screen where you add the details of the ICS feed to import, there are two fields underneath the one for the “iCalendar/.ics Feed URL”. These are named categories (optional) and tags (optional) and can be used to ADD a categor(y/ies) and/or tag(s) to the events that come in via that feed. So for two different feeds you can allocate eg two different categories – and use shortcodes after that to display each set of events separately.

Ok, got it thanks. I hadn’t created any categories yet and couldn’t type them in on the fly.

Yes, as you say, the categories need to exist before you are able to enter them on the ics feed import feed screen.
