• Hi,

I have a problem with using WordPress.
When I wanted to add some pictures as a gallery on a page (clicking on ‘add media’ and then make gallery), suddenly the pictures don’t show up anymore on my website…
    How is this possible?

Also, the wordpress bar at the top of the website when you’re logged in, disappeared. I don’t know whether this is a part of the problem.

Could anyone give me some advice what to do?
    Thanks!

  • Try deactivating ALL plugins and switching to the twentytwelve theme. If the problem is resolved, reverse your steps one by one to see what’s causing that problem.

A link to your site would be relevant as well.

It works, the pictures appear on my website now.
Actually, the bar was there with changing to twentytwelve, but disappeared again when I switched to my current theme…

That seems to indicate a problem with the theme – what theme is it? Is it current/compatible with WP3.6?

Now the pictures show up but the lightbox (when you’d like to see the pictures larger) doesn’t work.

The theme says indeed I need to update to another version. Could that cause this kind of problems?
Name of the theme is Dandelion.
    My website is http://www.sharonniessen.com

Yes, you should get it updated! But ask the developer for additional questions – as we don’t have access to (or support) commercial themes.
