What timezone setting did you try changing and what did you change it to?
I tried Chicago since I’m in CST timezone.
I can confirm the same problem on my site.
Site timezone is set to Chicago (UTC -6)
Google Calendar is correct.
But posted events on the calendar appear to be showing at UTC (which would be 6 hours ahead of the site, so it’s tomorrow on the site, now.

There are no events at this time, but today’s date is highlighted in red (and it’s highlighted for tomorrow).
I have the same issue. 2 hours in my case. I live in Sweden UTC +1

I have check the activities in Google calendar
I can import them from Google calendar to iCal with correct time
I have checked serval web browsers
I clear the cache in the webbrowser
I clear the cache for the Simple Calender
I just want to make sure of a few more things here.
– Is your actual Google calendar set to your timezone also?
– WordPress timezone is set to the correct timezone (if you are using the option “Site default” in your calendar settings)
– If you set the calendar settings to use “custom” and then set it to your timezone does that help?
– Is this just a single calendar or a grouped calendar?

WordPress timezone is set to Chicago (local time listed is accurate)

okay I went into each of my grouped calendars and changed the timezones to custom / new york and everything is aligned now. individual calendars timezones are set to “event source default” and the grouped timezones to custom. This corrected the time display on the grouped.

I looked at the settings for the calendar that wasnt working correctly and somehow the timezone was wrong! Thanks Nick! It works now! I have no idea how that timezone was not set correctly…
My google timezon is set to UTC +1 Sweden
My wp timezon is set to Stockholm
I change in my wordpress admin dashboard, (Calendars-MyCalendar-edit-advanced-Timeformat) from “site default” to “Custom” And now it seams to work.
And if I change it back the wrong time will not appear.

Are you pulling the timezone using the “Custom” option or “site default” option?
