Displaying wrong woocommerce Price

    Hi,

    I have a Woocommerce site where I’ve added the product with a price (335 EUR), but the price displayed is only 268 EUR. This is an example, it happenes with all the products, it’s like the displayed price is 20% off the price I add on the product.

    I have disable all plugins, and tried with storefront – but with no luck!

    Can you help me, what is happening?

    It looks like there are discrepancies with the product pricing on your site, correct?

    We’d be happy to take a closer look, please can you share the following:

    • System Status Report: you can find this via WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Download for Support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here.
    • Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs

    Additionally, please can you share a screenshot of the following pages:

    • Products → All Products
    • The “Product data” section on the Product edit page for any simple product exhibiting this behavior:

    Thank you for helping, I have copied the site over on a stagingsite to fix it.

    1. How can I share a file with you, as I cannot upload it?
    2. I have som wc-image-regeneration errors, test-log.log (but it’s empty), mailchimp and Facebook but it’s because it’s on a staging site now.

    2. No, the added price is 335, but the displayed price is 268. There is no discount on it, so the problem is that Woo is displaying the wrong price, and I cannot understand why..

    I might have found the bug..

    The prices are added incl VAT, but are displayed ex VAT (for some reason). But the strange thing is that this is only valid for one currency.

    The site has EUR and NOK as currency, EUR being the primary currency. Also there are 2 VAT, DE (21%) and NO (25%).

    All prices are added incl VAT. EUR prices are displayed ex VAT, NOK are displayed incl VAT. So if I change the settings, one currency will always be wrong..

    Woocommerce also don’t reccoment me to have mixed settings, where I add prices ex VAT but display incl VAT.

    How to solve this?

    It sounds like there is an inconsistency in how VAT is displayed for different currencies on your site. This could be related to your tax settings or possibly a conflict with a currency switcher or multi-currency plugin as you’re using one.

    To better diagnose the issue, could you provide us with a screenshot of your current tax settings?

    I noticed you’re using (currently deactivated) the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin. Are you also using this plugin for a currency switcher or multi-currency feature to display different prices?

    To ensure that all prices are displayed correctly, you need to ensure that your tax settings are consistent across all currencies. Here are some steps to follow:

    1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Tax tab.
    2. Ensure that the “Prices Entered With Tax” option is set to “Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax” since you mentioned that all prices are added inclusive of VAT.
    3. Ensure no inconsistent tax settings warnings are shown in “Display prices during cart and checkout” or “Display prices in the shop”.

    As a side note, you might use a plugin like Price By Country or Tax Display by Country for WooCommerce. It might help you to show the correct price with the correct VAT settings based on country.
