Disqus only working on some posts

Disqus is only loading on some posts, but the majority of posts are loading the standard wordpress comment system.
Has anyone experience this before? I’ve re-installed the plugin, reset disqus, and cleared all possible caches. But still, only a few posts show the disqus comment section, and the others are all showing just the standard wordpress comments.
