Distorted Images
-
No matter what I set for image sizes/options, the images are distorted. I’ve tried the “keep original proportions” and setting the size, it just won’t change.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The option “Keep aspect ratio” works for your site. But currently this option is not activated in your widget settings. Please activate it and empty the browser cache.
I don’t see any way to upload an image here, but what I have is Display post featured image? Checked. Size of thumbnail – Thumbnail. Width 120 Height 75. Use aspect ratios of original images? Checked. If I try to change the width and/or height, it just springs back when I save.
That is no normal behaviour of the widget. Maybe the future upgrade would resolve that problem? Or the reason is in your WP installation and messes up the widget?
I will wait for the update. The WP install is standard, I use the SmartMag theme.
I am having same issue. thumbnail size does not change regardless of what number I put for width& height, and activating aspect ratio option 🙁
Looking forward for the update thanks for the great plug in!I can not reconstruct your case in my WP installations. May I take a look on the widget in the backend? If yes please mail me the login credentials to m dot stehle at gmx dot de.

No answer for a longer time so I marked that topic as resolved.
This is not resolved.
I am having the same issue. Thumbs are stuck at 75X75
I had to add some custom css code to change size.
.rpwwt-widget ul li img { width: 300px; height: 150px; }Here is the before.
Here is the problem
Here is how it looks after I copy pasted in the size I want via CSS
It would be nice if the plugin would accept the height and width..
Here is my settings just in case..

Thanks.
It worked for me after I deleted the widget and added it back with ‘Use aspect ratios of original images,’ then cleared my cashe. WordPress is very stubborn with holding onto cached thumbnails.
Thank you for your sharing your solution, SavageSites. Is that also a solution for you other guys?
I tried this. Now the distortion is gone. However, one image insists on showing up as square instead of in the original proportions. I checked and re-set the image size to make sure. I also cleared cache at my host, my CDN, and locally and tested in several browsers.

Because that image has an aspect ration of 1:1 while the other images have about 2:1.
When I check it in the media library, it has dimensions of 700×306. It’s a featured image so I don’t resize it. It doesn’t look like I can upload an image, but this is it, right out of the media library – http://spirer.com/images/featurentmimage.jpg
