Hi, i have just came to the same conclusion, it’s not only the Divi Form, but anywhere there is an email address, email link or mailto: link, the plugin creates lots of unwanted code around it thus making it nor display the link at all.
100% an issue with this plugin, also played havoc with my cache trying to edit a site, turned the plugin off and everything back to normal… 🙂

Hi @tkendrickweb and @stephenturner
Thanks for bringing this up. I wasn’t able to reproduce the exact issue you’re experiencing, but I did spot a bug that could occur under certain circumstances. I’ve addressed it in the latest update (version 2.4.2), and I’m hoping this resolves the problem for you.
If the issue persists, it would be really helpful if you could share a screenshot or any additional details that might give me more insight into what’s happening.
@tkendrickweb – I’m unable to view the page you linked to; it appears to be a DNS resolution issue on my end. Could you please double-check the link or provide the details another way?
Hi Ivan,
i have the same issue with Divi 5.
If the email address is just a Text-Field it works fine. But if you have e.g. a column with a link “mailto:…” you get this problem. I tested it with version 2.4.2..

Hi @tkendrickweb, @stephenturner, and @rmerz,
Thanks for sticking with us on this one.
We just shipped 2.4.8, which should fix the mailto scrambling inside Divi modules.
The email itself is still obfuscated against scrapers, we just stopped it from chewing up the formatting around it.
Could you update to 2.4.8 and let us know it’s looking right on your end? If anyone’s still seeing oddities, drop a screenshot or a snippet of the source and we’ll dig in further.
Thanks, Josh
