    Hi there,

The DJ widget shortcode isn’t working properly on my website.

    [dj-widget title”Now On-Air” display_djs”1″ show_avatar”1″ show_link”1″ default_name”RadioBot” time”12″ show_sched”1″ show_playlist”0″]

The avatar for the show is not displaying and changing the show playlist value to 0 does not get rid of the view playlist link. Most of the 1/0 values dont seem to be affecting the end result.

The widget works fine, but I can’t get the shortcode to work properly.

    Any advice?

If you got the Shortcode from the demo site, it’s for 2.3.0, which is hopefully launching this week. We’ve been working on developing a Radio Station Directory on Netmix and that’s what’s holding it up. You could download the development version of 2.3.0 on our Github page, which is about to be merged into master for deployment, and test that out. But, if that’s not the case, I’ll ask our lead developer to check into this. He’s in Australia, so there’s a timezone difference. I’ll get him to take a look at your issue tonight EST, which is tomorrow morning in Australia and see what he comes back with.

Thanks for the reply, Tony! I didn’t pull the shortcode from the demo site. I’m using the legacy shortcode. I appreciate you having your developer look at this!

I notice there are no = signs in your shortcode? eg. display_djs=”1″
I am not sure if this is just something that happened during copy and paste from what you have but I thought I’d check that with you first.

Be aware 2.3.0 is out and has some more shortcode attribute options available, so you may want to update and try that out. Let me know on whether = was the issue so we can close or continue this thread.
Note we are using [current-show-widget] for this widget shortcode now, but [dj-widget] will still continue to be supported anyway.

@whousley I’m going to close this ticket as resolved since we haven’t heard anything. If the problem persists with 2.3.0 please file an issue on Github so we can track it further.
