Do you see any data under “wp_options -> DMSGuestbook_options” on your phpmyadmin?
Did you try to install the guestbook manually?
Check these files in your dmsguestbook folder: default_options.txt and default_sql.txt
DMSGuestbook works whith mySQL5, I use 5.0.45.
In wp_options-> on my phpmyadmin, I don’t see any reference to DMSGuestbook, however all items in wp_DMSGuestbook are according to default_sql.txt for the section, “mySQL 4.1 and above:”
I’m not sure I know what you mean by, “install guestbook manually”.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Manually means: Create a new entry in your wp_options, called DMSGuestbook_options and copy the whole text in it where you can find under default_options.txt
If it’s doesn’t work, so could you give me an temporary admin access for wordpress and phpmyadmin (if you trust me :-)) and I will check this. Send these to dmsguestbook (at) danielschurter (dot) net

It appears that I am having the same problem as described in
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/191510?replies=5
My problem seems match his at least. If you have a new admin.php, please provide…
Thank you.
dfellows, you’ve got a mail…
I deleted the initial “admin” user, which had an ID=1, and created a new “admin” user, which made it then ID=5. Everything works (at least this issue is taken care of). The initial admin user level should have been set to 10, but in fact, it was null.
DMSGuestbook 1.12.0 admin pages has a user permission, controlled by get_currentuserinfo(). Some user have problem to see the admin interface although they logged in as admin.
I think about to deactivate this feature…
Thanks dfellows and wojtaszek21 for help testing and for our patient 🙂

I’ve been making changes to configuration, so I saved them and when I reload the configuration page I notice that nothing happened, what’s going on?
I’ve deleted the plugin and reinstalled it, and the original configuration that i used on install is still there, what can i do?
