Our image CDN should work on both directory and subdomain setups — but it will be easiest to network activate Jetpack.

So do I need to create and add all network sites on wordpress.com?
I read it on forums that, to use jetpack, every network site should be added on jetpack or wordpress.com, is it really true ?

You’re very welcome! The ww.wp.xz.cn sites where Jetpack is installed will need to be connected to WordPress.com in order to use our image CDN — but there is no need to create the actual sites on WordPress.com (they only need a connection to it).
