This is indeed an option that shall be allowed even in trial version. it is just a basic function
close button is not availible in free version. Lightbox can be closed pressing on background overlay.
Yes we all got that part. But how about people who are browsing our site who get stucked because they don’t know how to ?
Then they might leave my site because of that? Can you picture the situation, and we are doing our best to make people stay instead ?
If with basic options you do not provide decent user experience, people will uninstall the plugin and look else where, rather than considering to upgrade.
Think about it, maybe u losing potential customers because of that.
No offense intended, I just observe and apply common sense. And your plugin is pretty good compared to the average competitors, but bear in mind my advise.

We will think about having a close button in the free version. The close button is not inserted in the free version not for to go commercial one. We should close some features in the free version and it was a close button. You can contact with this following email address [email protected] and the developers will add a close button for you for free.
