documentation about "cheatin uh" error

Need to find some official documentation on what causes the “cheatin uh” error message. Generic searches in Google don’t result in actionable items because it seems that this error message can be triggered in hundreds of contexts.

Is there any official documentation about this error message and what causes it?

Since the search function in the documentation section is so limited, there is no way to find out directly so I’m hoping someone knows. There are just WAY TOO MANY posts about this error message to find solutions.

Also hoping that if someone from the core WP team sees this post they will consider scrapping this error message entirely and provide more useful errors. Linguistically the word “cheating” doesn’t apply to 99% of the instances in which it is triggered and ends up coming across sounding snotty and unprofessional. Not appropriate for the world’s most popular open source CMS IMHO.
