@lando1982 Maybe you could add an option in Settings that removes the menu entries from the menu and unregister the wp_enqueue_scripts for those pages. Just another idea.
Thanks.
Hi Alex, I don’t understand very well the problem…
In other words, you don’t want the “Help” and “Documentation” section under the plugin menu, isn’t it? What do you mean with put all documentation on wp.org? In the plugin page under wp.org?
If I understand your problem the setting in the settings page could be a nice and easy solution for me.. a simple checkbox to enable/disable the menu visibility..
Let me know..
Hello,
Yes, I would like to remove the Documentation and Help sections from the plugin. My possible suggestions were:
1. Listing it here somewhere on wp.org.
2. Adding a checkbox to settings that would hide the menu items and deregister the scripts and styles for those pages.
Best solution would be here on wp.org that way all the documentation and plugin information is in one place.
Thanks.
Ok, I don’t know very well wp.org… do you mean the plugin page?
Like
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/cloud-search/
Or another page? Can you give my an example?
Apologize for my questions..
No problem, just on the plugin page. 🙂 You could put it under the FAQ section of your plugin page.
Thanks.
Hi Alex, in the new release you can find 2 checkbox to hide “help” and “documentation” menus…
Hello, works like a charm, thanks. Marking it resolved.
