I tried to create a new folder to hold some documents that were recently uploaded. When I put the documents in the folder and tried to view them on the site I received the No Documents in this Folder message. Please help. I am using version 3.6.20 of Memphis Docs.

Take a look at your file settings make sure that they are not private or the date is in the past. If a file is uploaded and the date is in the future the files will be hidden by default.

The files are not private and the upload is ok. If I take them out of the newly created subfolder they display just fine.

Hmmm that is a new one… If you create another new folder and place the files in that folder do they show up?

No. That does not work either.

can you see the documents in the dashboard menu?

Hey, I’m having the exact same issue after renaming main folders (they wouldn’t reappear on the front end until I added a space to their name when calling their category in the shortcode).

The main folders started displaying the subfolders again but the subfolders won’t open anymore on the front end, not even new ones.

    Please help us!

Are the subfolders clickable or just not visible?

Also check and see if there are any javascript errors.

visible, clickable, but won’t open. Only logged JS error I could see on the page was unrelated : GET https://syndication.twitter.com/timeline/profile?callback=twitterFetcher.ca…name=undefined&suppress_response_codes=true&lang=en&rnd=0.6559009133356553 net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

I could send you info in private IM so you can check for yourself. The mdocs extension is in a members area and I can’t enable wp-debug right now, the website will be used by alot of members today.

I would prefer not to have access to a closed site. We will have to try to debug the issue this way.

First off can you disable all other plugins.

On my end, the sub folder and documents are visible except on the live site. I can see it when working within MDocs but soon as I try to view it on the site the folder is empty.

That usually means it is a privacy issue or a date issue.

open the batch file editor and check all permission and dates to make sure they are correct. Pay close attention to the date make sure it is in the past.
