Does contact form 7 work with localhost?

    Hi there.

    Simply put, does Contact Form 7 work with localhost and send messages to an email address there?

    I use XAMPP for windows 7

    But when I test my form on localhost I get the “Sender’s message was failed to send” message. Do I need to migrate the site to the host server and test it there?
