Does Duplicator support GDPR compliant database export?
-
Duplicator is great, and it works really well. It´s so easy to use, both exporting and restoring is a breeze.
However, sometimes you need to share your WordPress database with external developers, or someone else outside your organization. To prevent sensitive or personal information to be shared, and to comply with the GDPR regulations, it would be great to be able to enable a GDPR checkbox, so that sensitive or personal information would be scrubbed from the database at export, so that it can be safely shared with external developers.
Alternatively, in stead of removing names, adresses, and email addresses, they could all be replaced with dummy content, for example email addresses with [email protected].
Does Duplicator support this now, or will it support GDPR compliant database export in the future? Are there alternative exporter/importer plugins which can export a GDPR compliant WordPress database?
