I want to use shortcode in my post for users to login/register in a way that they do not have to leave the existing page. I guess that is possible if this plugin uses Ajax for the same. Could you please tell if it is possible with this plugin ?

    Hi @nims

I’m sorry but Nextend Social Login doesn’t use AJAX for login. But after the successful login, it redirects back to the page where the login buttons were pressed.
So if your visitor presses the login buttons on your https://example.com/blog/my-awesome-post page, then they’ll be taken back to that blog post after the login process has finished.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I guess that would be sufficient 🙂

    Hi @nims

Sorry, I am not that familiar with the features of “WordPress social login” but I think they also use the OAuth2 protocol for the social login / registration. So their login/registration flow may work similar to ours, just the two plugins have different kind of integrations.

Anyways if you would like to know more information about their plugin, I would rather suggest contacting its developers as they will be able to tell more about their plugin.

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.
