Does it work with PHP 7.4?

    Hi, I have been using the plugin for a long time and now I see that the upgrade needs PHP version 8 but my server uses 7.4 and I can’t upgrade at the moment, will it work the same?

    PHP 7.3-7.4. it works.

    Can I upgrade then? Because I see on the plugin page it says PHP 8

    I just tried to update and it won’t let me. My PHP version is 7.4

    8.0 is recommended. Because it’s faster. It works fine on 7.4.

    But when updating I get error and I have 7.4. It does not allow me to update your plugin.

    Maybe some other security plugin is interfering?

    There is a way to download the zip file and change the php version in readme.txt to 7.4.

    The WordPress repository won’t let you install the plugin if the server has a PHP version less than 8.0. But this can be bypassed by downloading the plugin and then uploading it to the site.

    You would be well advised to fix this as you are losing a lot of plugin installations.

    I think it’s the other way around. php7.4 is already past the support deadline. The server side should promptly support php8.

    Hello, I also can’t update the plugin from the WordPress version. I have a non-commercial blog, and my theme does not work with version 8. Can you solve the problem with the version or recommend a similar plugin? I like how the Plus Web plugin works, but it’s easier to stop using it than to fix bugs in my theme that occur when upgrading to version 8.

    Василиса, плагин же работает и с более ранними версиями PHP, как минимум с 7.4 точно. Просто его надо ставить не как обычно, а скачать и потом в плагинах выбрать установку через файл. И все ОК.
