Does it work with standard permalink structure?

Hi! Thank you very much for this plugin, extremely useful! I installed and activated the plugin but if I head to “mywebsite/latest” it returns me a 404 error. I have the “standard” permalink structure (like http://www.website.com/?param=value). Do I need to change my permalink structure to make it work? Thank you very much for your efforts and support!
