I use ampforwp with /autooptimize and fastestcache/ and now I try to use jetpack boost. But I am not sure, if it is ok. Defer helps at desktop but from PSI I have worser speed time for TFB.

Does defer function slowdown any way automatic redirerction to AMP? I ask especially for redirection, becouse amp has their own caching.

Ot is there some one who can help to set it correctly?

    Thanks for help

HI @peterert, how much worse is your TTFB? Does it consistently drop after activating the defer module?

Can you try measuring multiple times with and without the module active and look at the average? Sometimes may TTFB may just fluctuate.

I will test it but there is several caches inside it take some time.

For redirection there is used javascript. Question is, if jetpack boost defer this script or not.

If yes, than wp prepare almost all dtp page and only after than it redirect page to amp – this could slow. Is there any possibilitie to take high priority to redirection?

When redirect, this operation if redirect or not would be the first act

Hey @peterertl, you can exclude a script from deferring by adding the attribute data-jetpack-boost="ignore" on the script tag.
