does not latex within other plugins

I am using plugins such as posts-for-page, advanced recent posts, etc. Quicklatex works fine within ordinary posts, but excerpts called by these plugins are not latex-compiled, and the native $ expressions are displayed instead

I have looked into the codes of those plugins but cannot easily understand what to tell them in order to make them do the job
