This is the second issue I’ve had with this plugin since installing it. On all recovered orders, variation attribute meta data is not retained.

For example, product A with attributes Color and Size, normally on an order it shows the selections of Color: Red and Size: Large, but that meta data is simply missing on recovered orders. All it shows is the product name, SKU and variation ID.

This is really just a bug report as I’ve already uninstalled the plugin due to too many issues so far. Hope you can get these issues fixed for future users.

    All the best.

    Hello @slightlyfaulty,

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Have you created variation using a Woocommerce subscription plugin? If yes then it should work.

If you are using any other plugin for variations then please let us know.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

I am not using any plugin for variations. They are standard variations within variable products. The only difference to the native functionality is that I have a filter to prevent attributes showing in the product title, so they always show as item meta data below the title.

I’m also using WooCommerce Product Add-ons and strangely the keys for the selected options are saved, but the values are being reset. There’s clearly some issue upon recreating a customer’s cart where all cart item attribute/meta data is not being saved/restored properly.

    Hello @slightlyfaulty,

If you have created variable products, then it should work, and We checked it is working fine.

You may not able to see variation due to filter you have addded.

We have not added support for the WooCommerce Product Add-ons hence you might face issues with it. But we will look into it and will add this task in our development queue.

    Thank You!

What you’re showing in your screenshot has nothing to do with this. I’m referring to the attributes that are displayed underneath the product title.

It boggles my mind how the top cart abandonment plugin with 70k+ active installs can have glaring issues like this for something as simple as cart item attributes and not have a single review under 5 stars. You guys are clearly doing something right, so congrats for that, but sorry to say it’s definitely not your code.

    Hello @slightlyfaulty,

Sorry for the inconvenience and misunderstanding.

Yes, we agree that product variations are not showing on the recoverable order metadata in the backend.

We will fix this in our next update.

If you have any questions please feel free to open a support ticket here.

    Thank You!
