• I paid for the ‘pro’ version of this plugin, only to find that it does not support Javascript in the URL field for what to do when a button gets clicked.

Until this plugin is updated to modern realities (ie widespread use of Javascript), it’s fairly useless. Lots of checkout buttons (eg a Submit Order button) use Javascript to submit/execute.

MaxButton is useless for creating such buttons.

Thanks for your feedback. The next update will allow javascript to be used in the URL field.

    Suv,

Have you downloaded the latest version which we released Saturday?

Second, this is the wrong forum for this feedback since you are commenting on the Pro version.

Third, this functionality isn’t specified anywhere on the site or on the WordPress repo site. We would have been glad to let you know it wasn’t in the plugin if you had asked.

As for adding it, it had been top of our list but we’ve been working on another significant upgrade.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback and let us know if the new version works for you in the MaxButton Pro support forums.

    Hey Suvipub.

You there? This issue is fixed but your rating is unchanged and that doesn’t quite seem fair.
